Should I restart MSFS mid update?

Hey guys. 
 

I’ve had the update going for almost 4 hours now and it’s only at 12.34GB/33.4GB. 

Thats very unusual as it’s never taken this long on large updates before. It’s definitely not my internet as I get 80mb/s. Should I restart the sim and my pc to see if that makes a difference and is this speed normal?
