April 14, 200719 yr The FSD T-38 by Owen Hewitt et.al. does work with FSX if you can live with a few caveats such as the VC instruments not working so well (ok....not at all) and the cockpit glass being invisible, which looks a bit odd when raising the canopy. However it's a beautiful flier and an all-time favorite "runabout" in FS9 that is suprisingly short-field capable, and makes for a fun way to boogie around when you feel like it.The lineage and access to this model can be confusing. It's been available as a freeware download for some time, I got mine from a reputable and very well-known site, but at the FSD site I see it's a purchase-only option but is also packaged with their C-17 Globemaster. So, you can find it a la carte for free, or pay for it if you want it with fries, I guess.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v148/Sto...TorreyPines.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v148/Sto..._11_Lucerne.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v148/Sto...t_Ensenada5.gif
April 14, 200719 yr That's funny. It looks like a convertible with the top laid back. If they'd update it for FSX, I'd buy it. If I can't find one that is FSX compatible, I might pick it up anyway. I have their Saratoga and I love it.FLMach1
April 15, 200719 yr Author Since I am building a T-38C pit, I too, would love to see a FSx version. The FSD version is based on the NASA T-38B and is designed for FS9. However, the gauges are pre-2000 and won't work in FSx. If FSD ever upgrades their T-38, I will be standing at the door the day they open to buy it. LOL JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer.
