December 7, 20214 yr I purchased RXP GNS 430, GNS 530 and GTN 750 the past couple of weeks and they all work fine (in the P3D V5 H2). However, both the GNS 430 and 530 seem to cause the NAV Ident Morse Code sound to stop working. For example, I installed the 430 into A2A T6, and the 530 into A2A Comanche. In both instances, the NAV Ident stops giving the morse code sound. But once the GPS unit is turned off, the NAV Ident works again. Both the 430 and 530 were installed as GNS Unit #1 respectively in the T6 and Comanche, and set to COMM 1 and NAV 1. The GTN 750 is also installed in the T6 and Comanche, as Unit #2, and set to COMM 2 and NAV 2. Hope to have some advice on this. Thanks. Edited December 7, 20214 yr by LEP
December 7, 20214 yr Hi, The GNS has an IDENT mode which is meant to support this function. Since the simulator only has 1 NAV receiver, the implementation uses and overrides the default audio panel NAV AUDIO mode behind the scene (which should reflect on the audio panel in the aircraft). In addition the GNS knobs also control the audio volume and it is possible the volume is just too low. In this case, raising the NAV volume in turning the knob should work.
December 9, 20214 yr Author Thanks Jean-Luc for your awesome support, as always. Tried out another flight and somehow this time I was able to receive and hear the morse ! Hope it stays that way.
