December 8, 20214 yr Hi, Fulcrum yoke worked fine in X-plane 11 until recently. Suddenly the cockpit view tilted upward and started spinning while showing a crosshair in the middle of the screen. I removed X-Plane Joystick Settings.prf out of the Output/preferences and replugged the yoke. It helped for a while but then it all started again. I plugged the USB into another slot and removed all other controls, not helping... In the settings menu I can calibrate the yoke but nothing lights up when pressing buttons, moving switches or coolie hat. Anything esle I can do to make the yoke work again properly?

Hi, can you remove the yoke from the shaft and look at the windows control panel. With the yoke removed, all the buttons should be lit up in red. Reattach the yoke and see if all the lights go out. When you have done this can you let me know if the hat switch is indication any direction? Make sure that the yoke is fully seated on the shaft, the bolts on the end of the shaft should be all the way into the slots on the yoke. December 9, 20214 yr Author Hi, yesterday I removed the yoke from the shaft and looked at the windows control panel as you asked. The lights on the windows control panel were on before and after the yoke was removed. I then reattached the yoke and made sure the bolts on the shaft were all the way into the slots (as they were before I removed the yoke). The lights on the control panel remained on. The pitch and roll axis are working fine. Until recently the buttons, switches and coolie hat worked as well except that the movement of the coolie hat was rather sturdy and did not to move well in some directions. The lights on the windows control panel remained on all the time before and during the yoke removal as well as after it was put on the shaft again. 🙁

January 14, 20224 yr Author Hi everyone, after I contacted Fulcrum enquiries and provided more details about the issues I had with the buttons and switches, Chis sent a new yoke handle. Unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem and we agreed that I would receive a new kit when I returned the one that didn't work properly. Today the new kit was delivered and I promptly installed it... and it works great! The after-sales service was fantastic and I want to testify that customer satisfaction really means something to this company. A VERY, VERY BIG THANK YOU CHRIS! 😎 Edited January 14, 20224 yr by Nolemming
