TrackIR Profiles

Featured Replies

Would anyone be willing to share their TrackIR profile that they use, specifically with the PMDG 747 but I'll take any of them. For whatever reason, none of mine work very well with this aircraft. It's erratic. Specifically when moving towards the screen. It seems to want to move me downwards rather a lot as well as forwards. It's making moving to look out of the left window or positioning myself over the FMC almost impossible. By the time my eyepoint gets to where it needs to be laterally, my eye position has dropped down vertically to a stupid level, as if I have moved my head down as well as forward, which I haven't and when I look in the TrackIR software it confirms my head has not dropped at all so it's something P3D is doing or something related to the geometry of this cockpit perhaps. I'm not sure.

Because this is only happening in P3D I doubt a different profile will help, as I said, in the software and in MSFS it behaves exactly as I expect but I'm willing to try anything. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi @Jazz

Any luck in solving the issue, I also got TRACKIR but things seem extremely jerky in P3D, I am using Chaseplane to assist.

If anyone else has any information I would be extremely grateful, again MSFS looks like a winner here, still yet to try it for my VFR flying but will report back if it is smoother.
