MSFS blue line stalling while loading flight? SOLUTION!!

Featured Replies

After running into this problem several days ago, and spending countless hours trying to repair the sim, removing the Community folder, running in safe mode, and finally uninstalling and completely reinstalling the sim, I still had the blue line stalling whenever I tried loading a flight.  Did not matter which aircraft, which airport ...

Finally, I found the ONE helpful suggestion which immediately solved my problem.  So if anyone else is frustrated and still has not had success this is a good fix to try:

Search Windows for your Command Line app and - Run Command Line as Administrator (important).  Then when you have the black background window with the prompt ready, type in sfc /scannow to do a system files check.  It will take a few minutes, and will present you with a message when completed.  In most cases any error found can be corrected automatically, and it did in my case.  If you get a message indicating the scan and repairs did not complete successfully, I understand it will have suggestions as to what to do next.

Then re-start your computer and test your sim - hopefully you will have the same success as I did.

Good luck!
