AAO's gets stuck on 'waiting for aircraft data FBWA320NX

Featured Replies

Hi,

My daughter & I have been really enjoying MSFS 2020. We use AAO's with stream deck XL and the FBWA320. We use the incredible evolving FBW A320 profile for StreamDeck XL (for LORBYs AAO SD plugin) by Guenseli from flightsim.to.

Everything was working well to the extent that my daughter is thinking of becoming a pilot!!

When we updated AAO's from 2.12 to 2.23 b22, stream deck AAO plugin to 6.15, & the current streamdeck  profile version to 1.95 by Guenseli, AAO's connects to simulator but gets stuck on 'waiting for aircraft data'.

It just sits there regardless of what we do.

I start AAO's as administrator, streamdeck as administrator.

In AAO's I have checked that web API on port 9080 is selected. Find button is also selected.

The profile scripts have been imported into AAO's. The profiles have been entered into streamdeck.

I updated the FBW A320 development version using their installer.

I didn't change anything else to my knowledge.

I am hoping that someone can point us in the right direction as I am stuck on how to get this working again. I am a novice with AAO's and streamdeck.

Your assistance is appreciated.

What is the default camera that you've set up? Make sure that it is the internal cockpit view, no the outside. The outside view will throw off AAO (long story, and no, at the moment that cannot be helped.)

If all fails, there is the option to "Force connection to the running sim" in the "Connection" menu of AAO.

Oh, and double check that you've used the correct installer for the update (the one called LorbyAxisAndOhs_Install_MSFS.exe).

If you've used one of the others you will have installed a second copy of AAO, but one that was meant for a different sim. That copy shouldn't work at all, but you just never know.

Thank you for your reply. AAO’s appears to connect to the sim as it goes past the ‘waiting for sim connect’ phase.

It seems not to connect to the aircraft & gets stuck on ‘waiting for aircraft data’

I am not sure what you mean but check camera.

Thanks

I have done a complete reinstall of AAO's. It is now working.

I think it got corrupted when I updated it.

I really appreciate your help. Thank you
