Rudder issues in Prepar3D

Featured Replies

Hello, recently i've been getting some strange rudder issues. It's really hard to describe the problem but sometimes the rudder just stutters to the left and locks itself. It behaves odd. It happens in all planes, and I'm 99%sure that it's not a problem within the simulator. I think it's because of some strange setting or calibration with my Joystick. I'm using T.flight PS3 joystick. What's special about this joystick is that it got two Z-axis, one on the joystick, the classic twist motion, and then there is also a Z-axis on the joystick. I've tried resetting the calibration, but to no luck.

Any ideas?

It can be calibration in Windows, P3D and FSUIPC and even more 3rd party programs, if you have these. Sometimes it helps to change to raw input in P3D.

Next ist autopilot. Make sure it is off. "Z"

The last idea is realism settings, which can vary from plane to plane. I have them all set to zero except for the general realism slider, which I have on 50%. The others include rotation effects from the engine which make some planes absolutely unsteerable.
