December 31, 20214 yr I suddenly experienced the black screen at loading after many days of successful operation. I have tried every option discussed in the threads about this issue. -fastlaunch - remove USB - change audio - change drivers - virus exceptions - NO antivirus running - stop audio services Procmon and Proc Explorer show the sim issuing all the normal calls and directX wtites to the GPU. The GPU Is 38% busy but the framerate is 0. I can hear the various sounds thse sim makes while loading and the CPU for the sim is about 30% on an 8-core machine. All appears normal in every monitor and log What do I try next?
