After looking left or right in VC mode I sometimes find it difficult to quickly move back to a straight front view.Hitting the space bar works sometimes but not always. Is there an answer?Cliff

Assuming you're using a yoke or joystick, you can also program any button to center-snap the virtual cockpit by going into the Settings-Controls and selecting "Look Forward 3d cockpit" for any particular button on your joystick. You can do the same for the 2D cockpit (for example, you have the spot/outside view on the screen, you push the button and it immediately snaps to the Forward 2d panel). Many other keyboard functions can be programmed with buttons on your joystick/yoke.
