January 4, 20224 yr I'm trying to run the RXP GTN650 in XP-11. I've run the installer as per the instructions and allowed it to install the Garmin Trainer. The Garmin Trainer can be run outside of XP11 and function properly. When I run XP11, the GTN650 shows up in the plug-in. When I select the GTN650 appears above the panel in the the stock Laminar Research Cessna 172SP. I have also installed (in a separate directory) the "add-on) Laminar Research 172 GTN/G5 created by "lther". While the G5s plug-in show up and appear to work fine, the GTN650 will appear (in its proper position on the panel) but won't run, wont turn on and is a black screen in any aircraft I try to run it in. Based on advice given to others, I tried running the trainer install again and the installer says its already installed and won't go further. Again, the Garmin Trainer works fine - just not in XP-11. Thank you. Joe
January 4, 20224 yr Hi, Have you purchased the GTN 750 or the GTN 650 product? (these are 2 separate products). If you did, can you please post the content of the RXP log files? (see user's manual for file/path)

January 5, 20224 yr Author It could be more clear if I had any idea what was looking for - I know -- How can this guy fly a real airplane through the clouds and land, at minimums, and not figure this out! I found my Sophos has locked up the file as the log suggested. I'll have to beg the IT Czar that oversees my computer allow get this file out of lockdown! Thanks for sending me in the right direction! I'll look forward to posting when this is resolved!
