Hello,I am having a issue trying to communicate with FSX 's ATC when the ATC window is not up. When running FS9, I shut off the automatic ATC window from popping up, yet I could still respond to them via the normal keyboard commands; ~, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.But with FSX, I cannot get ATC to respond unless I have the ATC window up. Is there something I over looked, or has anybody else got it to work somehow?Thanks,Polmer

I think in FSX the ATC window has to be active before it will accept a keystroke. Even with the ATC window open if it looses focus responding with a keystroke will not work. Focus is regained by clicking on the ATC window and pressing a response key or directly clicking on the answer you wish to give. Why MS shange this is a moot point.
