When SID or STAR procedures when should I be tuning into this page of the MCDU?

I do a lot of flying around NZ so if you want to reference any charts they're available for free

Appreciate any help. 

I pit the frequencys for the Star into the page before i Take Off. Because you have 2 vor 2 adf +ils you can also put the STAR in. But it maybe change later so it would be of course clever to wait
