May 28, 200719 yr The island of Madeira, Portugal was shamefully forgotten to be included in the coverage. will be fixed in Beta 4. I am currently "testingflying" this in FS 2004 (FS9) with TileProxy.Moderators, this thread can be moved into the Tileproxy forum, thank you ;)
June 6, 200718 yr Allright folks, attached please find a KML file that represents the coverage of the world by TileProxy Beta 4. You can display this in the Google Earth application. Each bright yellow rectangle is currently covered. The rest is FSX default terrain.I will use this display to improve and complete my land coverage. I believe I am still missing out on a few percent of the global landmass.Enjoy!
August 5, 200718 yr I am surprised no one has noticed the fact that Northern Germany's islands in the "north sea" were not covered by Tileproxy. These islands are called "ostfriesische Inseln". That will be corrected in the next release. Wikipedia has a snapshot of these islands here:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...he-Inseln_2.jpgI just found that problem while testing the accuracy of land/water masks in my home country. If some admin could please move this useful thread into the Tileproxy forum, I'd be grateful.Christian
