May 9, 200719 yr Hi,Here I think, the representation of the world for FSX and TPhttp://img253.imageshack.us/img253/7826/mapem5.jpgIf you look inside the world file, the 0105 area (as exemple) is missing...to bad for french people because I think it's where is the french polynesia. Can we expect some BGL for this zone ? ;)Thanks a lot for this great addon :))))))CU :)Livai
May 9, 200719 yr Ah, nice. This is exactly the image I used for my BGL generation tool. I manually typed 6144 stars or dots to define whether i wanted photoscenery or not on that square.I surely have made mistakes. I can't really spot any islands in the 0105 square with plain eyes here. I will have to get better resolution maps to refine my coverage.
May 9, 200719 yr Hi Christian :)Yes I can image the work...6144 stars or dots :(...thanksDo you think it's possible I add myself this area or do you use a specific .inf to create the bgl.If you need help, don't hesitate ;) in french or english ;)CULivai
May 9, 200719 yr Could this be the reason why in the Canry Islands region there is no coverage south of N 28
May 9, 200719 yr Yes, very possible I cut the Canary Islands in half. Sorry ;-)Please report any other missing areas here so I can fix it in the next release. Latitude and Longitude of any "forgotten" areas greatly helps.Christian
May 9, 200719 yr Thanks, now I have the answer for the Cape Town Peninsula .. I was wondering what the problem could be.RegardsRobertCAPE TOWN-------------------------------------Asus A8N-VMAMD Athlon 64 3000+XFX Nvidia Geforce 6800 XT PCI-E [256]2Gb DDR400 RAMCH products Yoke and USB Pedals Intel i7 - 9700K @ 3.60 GHz | Asus RTX 3080 | 32 GB RAM | Saitek ProFlight Yoke System and Rudder Pedals | X-Touch Mini | Honeycomb Bravo TQ

May 15, 200719 yr Nice grid!Is there anyway to zoom in on this and see which BGL's cover roughly which area WITHIN a specific TP folder?EG:Say i wanted to know which area "ptx1719.bgl" covers in the "0202" folder, how would I go about this?Reason being is that some areas I would prefer to have default FSX (autogen) scenery, but in other parts within the same folder's coverage, I would like TP to do its magic. Thanks
May 15, 200719 yr you start counting the small squares from the left and top.so ptx1719 is the photo texture definition for the little square at the 18th position from the left and the 20th position from the top. Careful, counting starts at square #0!Christian
May 15, 200719 yr You can open FSXScenery0202Scenerycvx1719.bgl in TmfViewer then read the cursor position in its status bar. The problem is that TP uses the old FS9 texture format where each .bmp covers only 1 square kilometer.George
May 15, 200719 yr ahh thanks for that.I think i'll pop the glasses on and go square hunting.I don't want to install anymore software. It shouldnt take long.cheers :D
May 28, 200719 yr The island of Madeira, Portugal was shamefully forgotten to be included in the coverage. will be fixed in Beta 4. I am currently "testingflying" this in FS 2004 (FS9) with TileProxy.Moderators, this thread can be moved into the Tileproxy forum, thank you ;)
