Kuttyhunk MA short field ops is fun.

This is a real air strip on Kuttyhunk Island off Cape Cod.

I have never actually landed on that strip in real life, but I have landed a 206 on floats in Kuttyhunk harbor with "Storming Norman" long since on his last flight.

And I have walked this strip admiring Mels skill in landing his 182 with wing extensions for landing there. There are lots of 182 tires piled there, I guess from hard braking, the surface was  steel mesh on  the sand back in the 80’s when I was there.
