No sound

I've suddenly lost the ability to output sound from MSFS to my desired output - Voicemeeter Banana. I use Voicemeeter to manage multiple outputs at the same time, and it works with all other games and programs. It always used to work with MSFS, too. I've tried restarting the PC, uninstalling and reinstalling Voicemeeter, switching to just headphones or speakers and then back to Voicemeeter, and finally I've tried a full install of MSFS (aaagh). Nothing has worked. MSFS will output sound to the other outputs individually, though.

I have the game installed from the Xbox app (formerly the Microsoft Store, but it made me switch over when I uninstalled). Other Xbox app / Microsoft Store games output sound to Voicemeeter with no problem.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Does anyone have any idea how to fix this, please?

Doh. Almost as soon as I posted this, I realised I hadn't had a look at the Volume Mixer on the Windows Taskbar. MSFS was muted. When I unmuted it, the sound came back.

It appears that, after initially muting itself for no reason, MSFS then unmuted itself when I switched to a single audio output, and re-muted itself when I switched to Voicemeeter. How odd. What a waste of time the full reinstall was! And what an word not allowed I am for not checking the Volume Mixer.
