January 21, 20224 yr So I've just installed LNM on Linux and the documentation says "The base path of the MSFS installation and its directories Community and Official is detected automatically. You can change the path manually if needed." I assume this is in shown in the Scenery Library -> Load Scenery Library window. However, mine is blank and my "Simulator" dropdown list only shows X-Plane 11 (which is not installed). I'm not sure what to put in for the folder. If I use the ...steamapps/common/MicrosoftFlightSimulator, I get an error saying "cannot read base path" with "reason" of directory ".../MicrosoftFlightSimulator/Resources/default data" does (and then it cuts off, but presumably telling me the folder doesn't exist, which it doesn't). I also tried my compatdata folder, but that had the same result. Where should I point this or am I looking at the wrong place for getting this to work with MSFS 2020 on Linux? Thanks for any help!

MSFS is not detected on Linux. See here for a much simpler solution: You only have to load the scenery library with LNM on the flying computer and then copy one fileC:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ABarthel\little_navmap_db\little_navmap_msfs.sqlite over to the Linux computer as/home/YOURUSERNAME/.config/ABarthel/little_navmap_db/little_navmap_msfs.sqlite Quit LNM on both sides before copying. 4 hours ago, BEARlyThereCDN said: I have the same issue with my Windows 10 installation. January 21, 20224 yr Author So is LNM not compatible with running MSFS 2020 on Linux? That's what I'm doing (via Steam on Linux), so the simulator and LNM are on the same computer.

You can run LNM on Linux or macOS and connect via Little Navconnect to MSFS running on Windows. Alex Edit: Sorry, did not read the Steam thing. So, basically you're using Wine to run MSFS on Linux. Linux LNM does not look for MSFS on Linux at all. You can try to run the Windows LNM on Wine which might probably, maybe, perhaps find the MSFS installation.
