Secret Island

I added a "Secret Island" and it's runway with the Object Placement Tool. Both the island and the dock at the far end of the runway show up but I cannot figure out how to get the runway to raise out of the water so I can land on it. Does anybody know how to get the runway to raise? All ideas are welcomed. Thanks!
