QualityWings2GSX - GSX/SimBrief Integration & Automation for

Featured Replies

@Fragtality  or anyone that can help... hi, im needing some help with the integration. I have everything set up but it seems the only thing automated is the doors. Other than that, I have to manually do everything else (i.e. call GSX for everything). Is this the correct operation or am I doing something wrong? I'm under the impression it is supposed to call the catering and boarding etc on its own. As well as connect and disconnect jetway and gate.

Currently, I have to do that manually and all the program does is operate the doors. Please advise.

Well, it has no Service-Automation - Refueling, Catering and Boarding still need to be called manually. The only automatic Calls is for Jetways (on Departure and Arrival) and the Deboarding upon Arrival.

The Focus was never to completely automate the Service-Calls themselves, it is about automating "uninteresting" Details when calling/using a Service (like the Door-Handling and Ground-Equipment-Handling) and of course to Fuel / Load the Aircraft through GSX (or technically correct synchronizing GSX and Aircraft). So you still call a Service manually, but everything after that (for that Service) is taken care of.

Ok, that makes sense. So that means I have everything set up correctly and it is working the way it is supposed too. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. Thanks for the clarification!

You're welcome 🙂

Another "Automation-Thingie" which is included but has to be triggered manually is the Init Function in the Auto-Script. I use that when starting a Session with a Cold & Dark Plane - it does the Repositioning via GSX, connects the Jetways, powers up the Plane, synchronizes the Parking-Brake and sets the internal/external Lights.
Can be bound via "LuaToggle QW787_AUTO" in FSUIPC to any Button/Key. As Parameter use the Number mapped to that Function (see the Bottom of the Auto Script).

Now this is something I am interested in cause I do a lot of flights in Cold & Dark or Previous Flt. - So to set this up, which script will I use? I only have the GSX_AUTO.lua and the QW787_SYNC.lua - I don't have a QW787_AUTO script.

Oh right, forgot that. The QW787_AUTO Script is part of the Package/Archive for the StreamDeck Profiles. Just take it form there 🙂
