February 7, 20224 yr Hi, I am brand new to MSFS and AAO, and flight sim in general. I'd like to get AAO for MSFS 2020 because I like the idea of AAO automatically switching control profiles for planes, and it seems like it will interface nicely with my Stream Deck XL. My question is: Do I need to unbind all controls and have blank profiles in MSFS 2020, and let AAO handle all control bindings, or can I have a mix of both MSFS 2020 and AAO bindings? What is the preferred method? I have the Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo controls if that matters, so I'm not sure if there are already prebuilt profiles/templates for these controls. Also, is there a way to make AAO launch automatically when MSFS 2020 launches? Thanks for any help you can provide!
February 7, 20224 yr Commercial Member You can use the MSFS controller logic and AAO at the same time. You just have to take care that you don't assign the same "thing" in both. Yes, you can set it up to start with the sim. Make sure to try the Demo version first, so you are certain that it works for you. Edited February 7, 20224 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
February 8, 20224 yr Author Thank you for your reply. I went ahead and purchased last night, and am really happy with it so far! As a follow up to my question about launching automatically, can it launch automatically as admin? Thanks again!
