February 9, 20224 yr When I trim the rudder or aileron in the P51 that came with the Renno Air Races tittle I find it rather slow to respond to the button presses I have assigned in the controller configuration menu. I believe the most straightforward way to adjust it would be to edit the "trim_sensitivity" entries in one of the aircraft CFGs, but I wonder if there's a better way to do it in MFS ? I hope one day they end up implementing the kind of trim effects I have in IL-2 or even XP11, where we have different types of trim mechanisms, ranging from pure trim tabs to stabilators or both, and where the tabs when displaced only affect the corresponding control surface as dynamic pressure build over it. In IL-2 it's actually very realistic to watch the elevator defflect as one applies takeoff power and the trim tab has been set away from neutral.
