Alternative product like TileProxy ?

Featured Replies

Hello,I have one WinXP 32-bit machine and one x64-bit Win2003 PC and on both TileProxy just don't work at all.Now my question is if there are similar products announced from from add-on companies ?------------------------------------------Freeware A380 Load Editor + Glass Cockpit Software coming soon !

Well TP is clearly working and doing wonders for others, so you may want to take the time to troubleshoot it.Currently, TP is the only app of its kind, though commercial developers will no doubt soon plagiarize it. One company had a payware "bot" in the works, which would download Google Earth data and save it for later use in FSX. I highly doubt they'll be able to release it, though, as it probably violates the Google Earth EULA on most accounts.

I don't know about violating the EULA but the killer for me on the commercial product is it appears you can only download the sites they have "worked" on. I want to download the scenery I am interested in-tileporxy does that...http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg

Tileproxy and Christian are currently in a monopoly for this type of product.

Maybe I should patent it? ;)
