I have always wondered why a United VA would allow pilots to fly and even have schedules for all their major competition.  What's the point of being a United VA if you let people fly American, Southwest etc?

Well, as the CEO of UVA and a leader of a growing FS Community on Discord, my pilots have shared with me how they like to have other options to fly.  We are branded as a United VA, most of our flights are flown under the UAL brand, and we operate as a United VA.  However, we are laid-back enough to put some other airlines in our schedules to offer pilots more options to fly.  We believe that options are a good thing.  It keeps our pilots flying daily.  When they get bored with United branded flights, they have others there to fly for something different instead of having to join 14 different VAs to do a flight on another carrier.  Some VA's are STRICTLY representing their real world counterpart and that's their prerogative to do that.  At UVA, we just want our pilots to fly, fly well, and have fun doing it so they are offered many more options than some "traditional" VAs.  Not sure about you, but that sounds like just my type of VA.  VA's are a community of Flight Simmers, pilots, aviation enthusiast, experts alike.  Its really all about the community we have at our VA and this way works for them, myself, and if you give us a try, maybe you as well!  We'd love to have you and all your friends come join us and see the difference for yourself at UVA.

I'm sure you and everyone else will find *something* you like here.  www.flyuva.org
