I unchecked "aerosol" in seeting and have done 3 flights with NO studdering and "persistant download" set to 5. Try it!

No fix for me. I updated, unchecked aerosol as you mentioned and still a stutter fest on the first update. I used persistent download at 10. Was hoping for some magic to happen but no luck.

It did fail for me later on. When you get the stutters the first time stop and restart the synthesis. For me it stopped the stuttersts on download. The clouds look so much better than Live.

I will definitely try that. I agree, their clouds are really nice.

I did do another long successful flight today with no issues after the initial stutter. Turn it off then back on. You will notice that when you turn it off the clouds stay the same and look good which means to me that it a background process causing the problem not the clouds.
