Virtual cockpit image quality

Featured Replies

After upgrading to SP1 with a fresh install of FSX, the virtual cockpit quality has been reduced. Most noticeable is the quality of the instruments and labelling. In the attached image you'll see the circuit breaker labelling is not readable, before upgrading all the cockpit labels were readable.I've tried a number of different combinations of display settings with no luck. Any suggestions?ThanksMarkhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/171912.jpg

At first I experienced the same thing, until I realized that re-setting my fsx.cfg had also re-set the Global texture resolution setting under Graphics. Setting this back to Very High cleared up the VC textures for me. I'm not sure if the High-resolution 3-D virtual cockpit option under Aircraft also helped in this regard, as I turned that on at the same time. Might want to make sure they're both set up properly just in case :)

Janne,You fixed it, you saved me a lot of hassle, thank you very much.Mark

You're welcome! Clear skies (and VCs) :)
