How to "Lock" the Map View??

I can zoom the Map View in & out using the Mouse wheel.

At the moment if I Zoom in, the new View will hold for about 5 seconds or so, then pull back out to the pre "Zoom in" view.

Is there any way I can Lock a View that I have Zoomed to?

LNM keeps aircraft and next waypoint on screen. You can move around the map for some time and then it jumps back to the aircraft after a timeout.
