Help with SP1

Featured Replies

Okay, anyone got any ideas? Fresh install of FSX, SP1. All tweeked up and I can maintain 25-35 FPS over major cities with any of the default aircraft. FSX just looks beautiful! However, load up an add on aircraft and BAM FPS hits the floor!Alphasim F-22, B-1, F-117 = 15-20 FPS (I can deal with this)Eaglesoft SR-22 = 15-18 (In some cases as low as 7-10 in turns) Carenado 182Q = 18-22 (I used to get an increase in FPS with this one pre SP1)Haven't tried any others yet. Is anyone else seeing similar results, am I crazy. Both? LOLARRRGH! Try disabling vertical sinc in your video card control panel. I noticed a big jump in framerates when I did this at the cost of some texture tearing when panning around the cockpit.Larry

Jim,Fixes from a performance standpoint? It was my understanding that all fixes affecting 3rd party stuff were visual in nature? i.e. Landing lights.Worth looking into though...-Jason Peters E-3 AWACS Flight Engineer USAF (Former B-52H Crew Chief)http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg
