Desktop FIPs not showing up

Featured Replies

Hi!

I installed the Axis and Ohs demo yesterday. Played around with it for a bit. All was fine. I could create desktop FIPs and web FIPs.

But now I cannot open the desktop FIPs window anymore. Maybe after deleting all FIPs I had?

The Web FIPs window opens up as earlier.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall a couple of times without any change.

All that happens when I click Gauges/Desktop FIPs is that a blank window turns up in the taskbar with the name "Display Virtual Instruments".

What has happened?

Do you have multiple monitors? I have seen this when a window is opened off screen. Sometimes you can hover the mouse over the symbol in the taskbar (do not click it!) then it pops up a small windows above that icon. Right-click into that small window, see if you get an option in the context menu to move it. Use the cursor keys on the keyboard to move it.

Did you add any other FIPs?

If you want to reset AAO to factory default you will have to delete a couple of folders. They are left behind so a simple uninstall doesn't destroy your user data.

Thank You!

Deleting the folders before reinstalling did the trick.
