I am going around in circles, so I need some assistance.  I successfully purchased and installed the GTN750 and 650 into X-plane and running on JustFlight's Arror and Warrior aircraft. These seem to be able to only fit the 750, with the 650 showing up as a window only.  The GTN MOD also displayed the same on SimCoders REP for both Pipers.   Good so far it seems.

So now I moved to the default C172 so I could display both 750 and 650 as a 3D panel.  But when I go to the GTN plugin GTN1 it initializes as a pop out window.  I can also open GTN 2 but it too is a pop out window. When I try and force the display to show as a 3D panel via the RealityXP.GTN.ini nothing shows. The default Garmin 530 and 430 remain visible.  I also installed x-aviation's G500, and it seems to be working as advertised.  

I saw a forum post on displaying two 750's but I only need the 750 on top of the 650.  If this has already been discussed, please point me to the solution as I have been unable to find or understand what I should do next.

Do you mean popped out or popup ?

The former is a standalone Windows window with a title bar, the latter displays in the main sim window only.

I'd suggest you review the C172 topic in this forum for more information, especially studying the .ini file parameters when put in perspective of the panel mod tutorial:
