Can only select keyboard

Featured Replies

After some issues with my PC I had to reinstall everything, including MSFS. After a few weeks I wanted to setup Axis and Ohs again but somehow it is not allowing me to assign any other device than keyboard.
In the Hardware menu (Manage Hardware Change) my USB controllers show up as connected devices but they don't show up in the list of devices when I want to make an assignment.

Am I missing something?

I am using AAO 2.28 b18, and the current version of MSFS (1.24.5.0).
Oh, and Windows 11.

No, they don't, that is not how this list works. Initially the list contains only the hard coded controllers that you can't reach any other way. You are not supposed to select the device first - just operate it.

Simply press the button or move the lever on your external device - AAO should pick it up. If that doesn't happen, check Hardware->Device blacklist, AAO automatically blacklists devices when it has trouble reading them.

Thanks for your quick response. I will try that out when I am back home.
It is probably in the manual somewhere but It was late and I could not find the correct procedure in the manual with my sleepy head.
