Midi X touch Layer B press rotary knob

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is "works as designed " or an error. When I switch the layers on my Behringer x touch and press rotary knobs always the same event is used nethertheless which layer I use.

From my point of view pressing  the first rotary knob layer A should be event 0 Layer B should b event 8 .

Using the buttons the layer change is working.

SInce the last release I see a lot of crashes during configuration or when I change the planes in FS2020. Any log I can provide to analyse what happened.

thx.

AAO tells you what MIDI message it recieves. If that is not what you expect, you will have to check the device with the Behringer Software tool and make sure that it sends the expected event in the first place. Remember that you have to "flash" all changes that you make to the device.

What is crashing while you are configuring what where?

In any case, a forum is not the place for logfiles. I suggest that you send your proof of purchase to the support address, with a detailed description of the issue. The address is on the last page of the AAO manual.

Other than that, the usual hints for incompatible hardware apply: stay away from the "Corsair iCue" software. Plus, in AAO, go to Hardware->Blacklist devices and move everything to the right with the "Ignore" button that is not a game controller that you want to use with AAO (this includes Mouse, Keyboard and StreamDeck, AAO accesses them in another way)
