mfs launch error

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

everything was working just fine until yesterday mid flight it PSX crashed and now it won't load.

I've deleted the folder out of C drive done a complete re-install and it just won't start. Just a plain white box comes up with nothing in it..

thanks

Josh

You have error 48.

Try this first:

Set automatic scan for liveries to true by ticking the checkbox in the UI (or by editing the paramer in parameters.xml).

You said PSXT crashed...? If that occurs, please post the Log.txt of that moment...

And you should not delete files and folders yourself, the installer will do that for you.

i actually went into my recycle bin and restored all deleted PSXT folders. (i manually deleted them when trying to install the latest version and that messed it up). But on restoring all the files and running the latest version *.exe, it installed it correctly.

so try restoring files from your recycle bin and retry the update/ install

Even better, read the Manual  first please. It clearly states the update procedure.

In general on Windows, never delete installation files/folders from an app that has an installer....

Hi I have aa simmeler problem, I use store version but PSXT not install the liveries and the airports automatic.

I am try a lot also using the instruction but no chnace to bring it to work. In the manual you say:

2. Start PSXT_MSFS Note that automatic search for liveries and airports has been tested for MS Store versions, Steam users may still need to set a few parameters manually.

But this is not working, what I do wrong.

You better use this workaround, see FAQ #27

Set parameter afolder0 as a Full path to the Community folder and switch off automatically scan addon airports.
