Hi,

i am rather new to AAO and i enjoy it especially in conjunction with Stream-Deck. Everything works like a charm.

Now i wanted to try the text-to-speech-functions. But none of the voices does speak. Windows narrator works fine. I have windows 11 installed.

Is there a certain trick to get the speech running? Several YouTube-films told me, that it should be very easy...

Which one exactly? The voice names are slightly different on Windows systems. Check the Dialog in the Extras menu, that should list all SAPI voices that are present on your computer. The voice name must match -exactly-. To make sure, you can left click - right click a voice in that dialog and the name will be copied to the windows clipboard, and you can insert it into your script with Ctrl&V.
