King Air for FSX?

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a 3rd party King Air that will work in FSX or perhaps a similar aircraft (twin-engine turboprop?) Freeware or Payware, matters not to me.And speaking of the default King Air, has anyone else noticed that the Magnetic Compass for the King Air 2D panel is WAY OFF? I mean by as much as 25-30 degrees off. A long time back I sent an e-mail to MS or ACES about this and I was hoping that they would fix it in the patch but, alas, they didn't.Bob

As you probably know, the Aeroworx King Air is one of the finest add-on planes available, but unfortunately it hasn't been updated for FSX yet. Having said that, some people are reportedly using it in FSX without problems. You might take a look at the Flight 1 Cessna 441 Conquest. That's been updated for FSX and is a very nice plane. I enjoyed it in FS9 and continue to enjoy it in FSX.Jim

Also don't forget the PDMG Beech 1900D. It's a twin turboprop...although a little larger than a King Air.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian
