Hey everyone, OK, I have been tweaking long enough. Now I want to finally see if any add ons will run without a slide/strobe show. I am still not sure how to go about this totally. Do I run an exsisting installer I have from when I originally got the addon for FS9, then just point it to FSX, then apply what ever patch is available? The file systems are different between FS9 and FSX, so I am still lost how to go about this with add ons. Also, if I do run the installers again, I would assume it would mess with my sytem registry due to it already being installed in FS9, am I somewhat correct? Can someone please explain exactly what the method of madness is so I can do this once and for all and get the most from FSX other than just the default stuff? Thanks so much in advance for who ever would like to step up to the plate. :)

Nobody will be able to answer your question. It really depends on which add-on you are talking about. And then you are better of asking in that particular product's help forum.
