May 18, 20224 yr I just flew this flightplan from Simbrief (Seattle to Klamath Falls): KSEA J65 LMT KLMT using ILS32. Could someone perhaps fly this in the FBW A320 and tell me what I am doing wrong with the flightplan? The a/c crosses LMT and flies an outbound course to the OM. The path indicates a right turn teardrop-shape to make the turn to come back around to intercept the localizer. But the a/c crosses the OM and continues straight. I see this is a DME arc approach, but then why did Simbrief translate this to the flightplan without using the appropriate IAFs for this approach, which are either MUREX or TULIP? Can someone explain what is going on here with Simbrief/the MCDU/and how to fly this approach exactly? After seeing the aircraft did not turn, I manually set the hdg to make the teardrop turn and crashed into the side of a mountain at 6300' (dark outside lol). Thanks.
