I am not sure how the software "picks" the descent rate...is there a way to make it always 1500fpm (I fly the king air). Currently I always have to go to the utilities\VNAV page and change the fpm to -1500 to get an accurate TOD

Hi,

I'm sorry for the delay, but are you using VNAV or VCALC?

The GTN offers 2 different vertical assist modes, a legacy and a newest.
