June 2, 200719 yr Hi all,in my opinion, the FSX AI ground vehicles and boats are way too speedy, and quite unrealistic.So I tried to reduce their speed.You just have to go to ...SimObjectsGroundVehicles and ...SimobjectsBoats and find the appropriate "sim.cfg" file.Then you edit the line with the new maximum speed. I suggest to leave the old value in place as a reference, just comment it with a double slash (e.g. max_speed_mph = "new value" // "old value").I have used different values for cars, trucks, tractors, etc.BTW, if you use different values for the same class of vehicles, you can see overtakings on the roads (nice....)The same holds for boats and ships.Give it a try nd see the changesFulvio
