Export FlightPlan as waypoints

In the old LNM I could export the whole FLP as waypoints for the GTN that have missing airports or navaids. How can that be done now? Dont see it in the manual. Thanks.

The waypoint option is still available.

The GTN export with waypoints is a new option in "File" -> "Multi Export Flight Plan Options". There is a "Flight1 Garmin GTN 650/750 with user defined waypoints" in the table, for example. See here for more information about the multi export function.

Its not saving the airports as way points. In msfs am using the TDS Gnix 750. It use the gfp plans. Still getting the locked waypoints. The path is correct. Thanks.

Ok. I need more information, sorry.

1. What export option did you use?
2. Can you attach/post the exported file here?
3. Do you use a Navigraph update for MSFS?
4. What scenery library mode do you use ("Do not use Navigraph", etc.)?

Not sure why you want to save airports as waypoints. These usually match with the simulator data and should not result in locked waypoints. Normally only navaids have to be converted to userpoints on export to avoid locked points.

I don't know the TDS Gnix 750. Never tested it.

Ok simple go to airport in msfs. Create a airport waypoint in the TDS. Delete locked waypoint in TDS. Add the created airport waypoint in TDS. I was going about it the hard way. Duh on me! LOL

LNM is the best flight planer. Thanks Alex for your help.

Ok. I think all these Garmin add-ons use the same official Garmin trainer which results in the same issues (database differences) for all of them.
A locked airport is new to me.

Anyway, glad you found a way around it.

I see. That explains the errors in the Garmin.
