We flightsimmers are all over the world and we all love our home areas with the variety of scenery and beauty in the world. I think it would be very pleasant for a thread for  people to post their local favorite airports and VFR routes for scenic appreciation. This could work in any simulator platform especially P3D/FSX with Orbx treatments or X-plane default or with ortho and especially in MSFS with live scenery. Any opinions?

Ok, take a VFR run from KDCA down to KROA. Plan your route to flow down the Shenandoah valley. I flew C141s down through there on low levels and Shot numerous approaches through there in Gulfstreams back in the USAF. Also, Vegas to Salt Lake is a good run for interesting scenery.
