June 17, 200718 yr Hi All,The two buzz words most associated with FSX are "blurries" and "stutters". I have figured out what the blurries are but when it comes to the stutters, I'm a tad unsure. Are stutters defined as jerkiness in the flow of whatever view is displayed, or are stutters defined as periodic pauses which may last a second or so. Never have been too sure of this. Anybody care to elaborate? Thanks.Jim
June 17, 200718 yr There are two main types of stutter.1.. Regular stuttering as you fly.Look to the side when flying and you will see constant stutters, mini pauses and jerkiness as you fly. These are down to your settings being too high or maybe background processes taking processor time away from FSX/FS9.2.. Irregular larger pauses. These pauses only happen every now and then. If you are running ActiveSky, you may have a very fluid and smooth flight, but may get pauses and stutters as the weather loads.Ray Keattch.
