Beech Baron 58

Hello anybody,

I've tried this scenario three times and was able to repeat it. Setup on runway, all avionics are active, as soon as I initiate the takeoff roll the PFD and all avionics go blank. Nada, nothing. My yoke is a Honeycomb, and all the switches are as they should be. Any ideas

Check switch 46/47.

Thanks for the reply. I don't see those switches and I'm probably not looking at the right location. I might have more going on here than just the Baron though. I just gave the DA-62 a go and I got the same issue. Went black shortly after rotate. Is it possible that I have an issue with the G-1000.

Aren't you using Honeycomb Bravo?

I think your problem is a conflict with the bindings. You have some switch that is turning off the avionics, and it's usually switch 46/47.

Are you sure you are not pressing anything when the problem happens? Like releasing the parking brake, since you said you start on the runway?

Alvega ..... thanks for the reply. I have the Honeycomb Alpha yoke only. I have the park/brakes setup on button 3. I use switch 17/18 for Avionics Bus 1 on/off & 19/20 for Avionics Bus 2 on/off. Bus 1 controls the PFD and Bus 2 controls the Nav display. I have a Saitek Throttle Quadrant and I show issues with that also in 2020, like.... the prop pitch does not go end to end in the fill box when looking at the joystick axis y movement. It goes half way across. When I look at the sensitivity , doing a reset on y axis, the motion goes in a linear direction from midpoint to top right. I have checked my throttle quadrant in Device Manager using the Windows calibration function and it is smooth from one extreme to the other. I'm perplexed. I don't have any controller issues in X-Plane 11. Frustrating.
