August 4, 20223 yr Hi, Strange thing happened today while using my yoke. All of a sudden, when I turn the yoke full left or full right, when I reach about 65-75 degrees, aside from the ailerons moving in the correct direction, my eve viewpoint goes straight to the overhead panel and locks in that position! Some of the time, I’m able to hit the “reset eye view forward” to go back to the forward view, but other times I have to unplug the yoke (turning the yoke back does nothing to fix the eye view position). I have been using this yoke since it first came out and never had this happen. Also, I checked the assignments page to see if something else assigned itself to this function, but nothing. I also tried deleting the assignment and re-assigning it, but no luck either. It’s just happening with my TCA Boeing yoke. Anyone else experienced this or have any unput? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much. Mario
August 5, 20223 yr Author Hi all, It appears that the issue I had was resolved. Upon recommendations from users over at Flt Sim Forums to create a new profile did the trick. Only hassle was that it took time to reassign all the buttons again because simply duplicating the Profile did not cut it. Mario
August 6, 20223 yr i have the same problem, and i think its kinda a hardware failure, when you turn the Yoke to much it triggers the right Joystick somehow internal. For me it goes away when i turn the yoke again stronger into the Same direction, to kinda reset the faulty cable or something else causing it... don't like the quality of the Thrustmaster Product so far, so i guess ít was the only one i bought from them. Should not happen on a 400 dollar device. But i will try also the create a new profile. A lot of hassle but if it will get fixed okay ^^ Edited August 6, 20223 yr by Bam2000
August 7, 20223 yr Author Hi Bam2000, Once you create the new profile from scratch, it will work for you. The only hassle is that you will have', is to program every single button, including the hat switch(from every viewpoint!). At least, I had to. Also, note that on the right hat switch, I couldn't get the up a down button to program. But this was a much smaller problem for me than the original one! plus, I've got the other hat switch on the left side anyway. Good luck. Mario
