I enjoy the LVFR static aircraft package, but at KRNT and KBFI they pose a conflict with the excellent freeware offerings’ static planes.

Is there a way to edit them away somehow?

You could give this a try - 

It'll depend on how the planes were placed. Some are individual. Some might be grouped together and placed as one model.
