Most of the time when I select "fly now" from the "free flight" menu in FSX everything loads fine. However, sometimes I get the loading progress bar and, instead of a black screen behind it, I can see my desktop. When it gets to 100% the loading bar disappears and all I see is my desktop. If I press ALT + ENT I can see a windowed version of FSX (but a black screen) and if I press again I can see a sort of mini full screen taking up the same space as the previous window but this is also black (does that make sense?). I have only noticed the problem relatively recently so I'm thinking it's something I might have changed however I was wondering if anybody else had experienced this behaviour and what caused it on your set up. My card is Nvidia 7900GT with the 91.47 drivers.

I have had this happen but only when I was launching in windowed mode (during TileProxy testing).Andrew
