Hi,

i'm new in this world of AAO and I bought it to configure it with my X-touch Mini (MIDI Controller).

I wonder if is possible to set in ONE Key of the MIDI controller, the command of the PMDG 737-600 Taxi light ON - OFF, what would the setting be in AAO?

Thx in advance.

Select the Event ROTOR_BRAKE as Key Down and set the value 11701 in the little numerical box to the right. That should toggle the taxi lights. (one press - on, next press - off etc.)

My advice would be to check on the flightsim to site too. A few simmers have uploaded collections with AxisAndOhs scripts for a variety of planes.

Go to the flightsim.to website and search for "xtouch", "x-touch" etc.

You will find for example this:

Thank you i'll try this template, however I would prefer to make my template to my taste.

One last thing, I would like to configure that the lights of the MIDI device turn on if the command is active / ON or off if the command is deactivated / OFF, how could I approach myself to do this type of procedure?

For that you need MIDI OUT, AAO has to send messages back to the XT. In the AAO manual there is a chapter about that.

And you will have to find out which variable to read that shows the state of the aircraft system that your switch operates. This is different for almost every aircraft. That is where downloaded templates and even StreamDeck profiles can help, because they usually contain the necessary information. Or in this case, I am pretty sure that the template already has a MIDI OUT script that handles all the LEDs on the XT (and you can take a look into the script to find out how it operates). No need to make this harder than it needs to be, the learning curve is quite steep.

Thank you
