My joystick doesn't have any rudder controls (like on some joysticks you can twist the handle to control rudder).What is the easiest other way to control the rudder in fsx? Without rudder controls I find it hard to land in crosswinds.

Man, I feel for you! Rudder Pedal is a must have item to fly, CH Products work great for me for many, many years. I would set up the arrow keys on keyboard via FSX control settings, one hand on stick, other on keyboard controlling rudder. Good luck! erv

Do you own a racing wheel by chance? I setup my racing wheels pedals to work as rudder controls.. LOL.. I'm sure it doesnt have the realism factor as rudder pedals, but it does the trick for me:)Chris

Do not even THINK about getting a joystick with a twist grip to use your rudders. Amazon has the best price around (at least in the U.S.) for the CH Products pedals, and Saitek just introduced a price cut on theirs. Don't pay more than $104US for the CH Products pedals; the price fluctuates on almost a daily basis for them, down to as low as $95US or less. The rudder control is very easy to use with it, and it's great if you like to use FS on your laptop and travel a lot.
