No Aircraft Airborne or Landing.

Recommended Posts

Hello, and thank you so much for such a wonderful addition to Microsoft flight simulator 2020. I have attempted to use this program and really have enjoyed it. However I've run into a noticeable hiccup. First, there are no aircraft airborne in flight. Nothing shows up on tcas nor do I see any aircraft visually. Secondly when I am parked on the ground at an airport, there are no Landing aircraft. Aircraft only show up on the runway as they are slowing down and turning off. I have racked my brain on this looking at various settings but nothing has worked. I have installed and uninstall both programs several times. What am I missing? I have looked through the form and have not seen this issue so if I have overlooked it and reposting a solved problem please forgive me.

Are yoiu sure you should see aircraft? Look at the RT radar screen to see if you really miss one. What aircraft are you flying. The Fenix TCAS had a problem with showing PSXT aircraft, don't know if that has been solved already. I'm flying PMDG 737, that works fine.

Maybe you are at an airport where aircraft has to switch transponder off at the ground. Try another airport, EDDF for instance, or one of the airports that already are in parked_updates (for MSFS).

Otherwise study the FAQ aout this problem.

Hello. it is the same at all airports. There is traffic on RT. There is traffic at the airport. I can see aircraft depart, cant see any land. They simply appear on the runway slowing down and turning off. Also in flight I dont see any.

There could be something wrong with the RealTraffic installation. Exit RealTraffic, delete the file C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\InsideSystems\RealTraffic.ini and re-start RealTraffic.
Or try this: cycle in the RealTraffic GUI through “Simulator in use” to Live Aircraft, exit RT, restart RT, en cycle back to PSXT.
