MaOS / MacBookPro 16 install quirks...

Featured Replies

Maybe some Mac users can help...

A friend who bought a MacBook Pro 16 with the "new" ARM processors bought and installed XP12 today, but during the install he got an HTTP error ( bad gateway ) probably due to server congestions, so, part of the scenery areas weren't installed.

In Peninsula Iberica he can go to some airports but not others that when he tries to load a flight from will freeze XP12 on the "Asyncronous loading..." message.

Is it possible to reinstall only areas of the scenery like in XP11 running the installer ?

Also, in XP12 and MacOS, where will the joystick configuration files be stored, just in case he decides to reinstall XP12 and wants to make a backup of his configuration to avoid having to go through it again ?

Thx for any help !

Ah, other than that he reports that XP12 runs even with cloudy weather at between 40 and 70 fps !!! depending on having the sliders full right or with some not maxed options, which looks great to me given that the rig has "only" 16GB RAM ...
